I don't know
and this is the best match that I found.. How is it? I think there's 80% similarity.. =)
While looking back at all the old pictures, from the one we took at New York to Sedona, I came across some of the photos that we took when we reached Arizona 2 years ago.. I'm feeling abit stressful now as I'm not sure if I should have ever started on this post..
I saw this "old photo" that we took in the beginning..
dated: May 2007
As I was looking at some of the photos that I took with her, suddenly a gust of sadness overpowered me.. Why did we ruin this 2 years when we could have lived in harmony? I was upset and angry that I took down all the photos that we took together that I posted in the friendster.. I couldn't bear to see the sight of her again.. I didn't know what had I done to make her say those harsh words in my presence.. And all the things that we did to each other ever since that day.. I do not want to elaborate any further what really happened.. In anger, we do things to hurt each other thinking that it would make us feel better.. But I don't think I've feel any better all these while. I'm not sure if she did feel better.. Maybe she did??
Anyway this Saturday is coming soon. I just want to wish her goodbye and have a safe flight..
maybe you might be laughing your ass off me.. or maybe you're feeling as sad as I am??

We're not just pretty vase, we cook
Shirley bought Kang kong in Vegas Oriental market and "donated" to us since she's not cooking it and it has been in her fridge for awhile. Sheena then went to stir-fry it with cuttlefish and her dad's chilli.. The leaves were somehow not very fresh anymore so I plucked them all off..
Last week we finally prepared all the necessary ingredients for our popiah,. So today I suggest to make them just in case the ingredient goes bad. We added fried bean curd in the turnip. Had bean sprouts blanched in hot water, eggs, shredded crab sticks and grounded peanuts.
Not bad right? We call it the $1.20 hawker standard popiah.. But still it's very tasty.. Really but you wouldn't know until you tasted it.
We made teochew pancakes (TP).. Let me enlighten you if you still have no idea what this is.. Usually you'll find these TP at pasar malam. In the filling we have marinated minced pork, fresh prawn, Chinese seaweed and spring onion topped with silver anchovies and peanuts, deep fried in hot oil. Clever Sheena found the flour and jio us to make them together.. Even Ah Liao also left a message in her facebook and asked what kind of flour did she used.

Happy birthday Sheena!!
We planned to meet at my place at 11am and once everyone is here, we will marched to our HQ which is just across my house.. Shirley had already coordinate with Moey to make sure that they are already awake.. So Moey opened the door for us, haha Sheena is in the shower so we hide in the front room. Waited for about 10 min and she's still in the shower, so we asked Moey to check out the situation.. He went into the room and came out, Sheena is already out.. So we stormed into her bedroom and gave her a surprise.. Hah, birthday girl is wearing her contact lens..
Happy birthday girl. I hope you won't feel lonely celebrating your birthday in AZ.. Maybe it's not as happening as those that you had in Singapore, but still I wish that you will be cheerful and enjoy your stay in here..

The birthday cake story and Davis
The weight issue
I've received a few comments from friends here saying that I have lost weight and asked me how is that possible. I told them that I did not went on any diet and even ate more than what I did when I was in the States. The answer is simple. I exercise unknowingly!! I kangaroo my 10kg to and fro my grandma home.. From Yishun, I had to take an express bus to Tampines interchange and then from there I had to take another bus to Bedok.. Although I always get a seat, I still had to walk from my home to the bus-stop, and from another bus-stop to my grandma's home.. Under the humid weather, the perspire that I had in a single day is more than what I had in the States 2 years together..
I am glad that I'm only 2kg away from my desired goal!! Ganbatte

Promoting a new food eatery
Waitress, "Is everything ok? How the food?"
Kelvin Ang, "It's awesome, I like it"
The restroom, according to Jerin was very clean and the lights were dim and atmosphere was good.. I had to experience it for myself of course, and true to her word.. It is.. Maybe they didn't had that many customers since they were sort of located at a "remote" area and yesterday was a Saturday.. It was really very very quiet.. That's pretty sad..
We ordered 4 dishes and 2 other that were free with the coupons.. If you do not have any coupons, it is totally OK. Because you still get 20% off under the military discount!! But of course if you're using coupons then there's no further discounts..
So in summary, if you order anything $15 and above, you'll get to order a dish for free
$25 and above you can order 2 dishes for free..
If you don't have coupons, you'll get 20% military discount on your bill.
They also have some other lunch promotions.
As usual, you can get free flow of sodas if you order them..
They also serve us some kind of fried crackers while waiting for our food.. FREE!!
And after having our dinner, they still gave us complementary ice-cream to share..
The ice-cream are great.. Served with caramelise banana, some whipped cream and chocolate love letter.. Slurp
The damage for the day? Only $68!! Can you believe it? We have 8 adults with us.. 6 dishes and 6 sodas..
And the best part, they didn't even charge us the 18% service charge when you came with a group of 8 or more..
I left the place full and satisfied. You should try out the Eest experience yourselves..
And please tell your friends and friend's friends.. Cause I'm afraid that they might close down due to the poor business hence I'm writing this post for them.. Check your mailbox peeps

A mom gonna do what a mom gonna do.
I had to kangaroo my 10+kg baby and carried a haversack containing mainly his supplies.. He did behave himself and even slept for hours.. Thank God. I was able to catch some rest myself.
If you think that this is no big deal, it's ok, because I'm talking about myself anyway.
The best part was during the flight from NRT to LAX, I asked a crew how many more hours to our destination, and she told me about 4hr+ to go.. I was elated as I had no idea at all that its only 9hr+ from NRT to LAX. In my mind I was prepared for a 16hrs flight.. muhahahaaaa..
Upon reaching LAX airport, I had to clear custom again, joined the queue which is super long.. Collected my luggage and tugging it, don't forget my 10+kg baby and a probably 4kg haversack to another terminal.. Joined the queue again to check-in my luggage. Went through the scanning again and finally found a cafe for a drink.. Bought a bottle of Pepsi for USD$3.75.. Had a few sip and called Laogong Baobei for the 5th time.. heehee.. I missed his voice and I can't stopped myself from calling him and waking him up again.. Finally I can use my HP.. Went to search for my gate and was totally off cause I went to the wrong wing.. At last I found it and sat there for a rest.. Heard the PA system calling for passenger KOH, that's me.. Went over to check whats the problem and the check-in staff told me I couldn't have the seat that was given to me previously as I was carrying an infant. Had my seat changed which I didn't care at all..
My 2nd best part happened at the boarding area in the LAX airport.. The check-in staff said that its about 1hr 30min to PHX!!! I could have shout out for joy... I can't believed that I'm only less than 2hrs to seeing my hubby.. The main reason was that I didn't had a watch with me and I can't turn on my HP on flight, I didn't know how many hours had past and I didn't had friendly neighbours beside me that I could have ask them the time..
For short, I am so proud with myself and ahbachang..
I Love Us..

Sian
I'm really scare!!
I'm not sure if I have enough milk formula with me
I hope that I won't be stranded in the airport like my sis-in-law did
I cannot imagine carrying Davis throughout the whole journey and I think that my arms will break
I'm scare that he will pooped in the plane
I hope that the flight isn't that full so that I can switch seats
I don't know if I'll be able to sleep at all
I'm worried that the immigration officer will ask me alot of questions and I'll be so tongued tied that I lost my words
I hope they don't serve me cup noodles again as I can imagine Davis spilling it and scald himself
I'm afraid that he will cry or fall sick or misbehave
I don't like to be in this situation at all!!!
Dear Abba, I pray that you will help me to overcome my fears. That Davis will be good baby on board. Please bless us with good weather with no turbulence and no rain.. Let all our flights to Phoenix be smooth sailing and protect us from all harms and dangers.. In your name I pray.. Amen

Dedicated to my FIL =)
My father-in-law wakes up very early in the morning, while everyone are still in their deepest slumber, he goes to the market and buy breakfast for us. Like this morning, he bought me 3 pieces of the peanut pancake when I told him I only want 2. (in the end I only ate 1) And in addition, he bought another piece of red bean pancake so that I can have more variety..
He also bought home a packet of fried beehoon and a fried noodles and waited for my mother-in-law to wake up to see which packet she prefer before he dig into the least preferred choice. And he didn't just did that today, he does it everyday! Always different food every morning..
Dad, "There's beehoon and noodles, you can have them if you want."
Me, " It's okay, I only want the pancake."
Dad, "Not sure what Mom feels like having today, I'll let her have her pick."
Me, "You haven't had your breakfast?" (It's already 11+a.m, I just woke up and my mother-in-law is still in bed)
Dad, "Nevermind, I can eat later."
Sometime in the night, Davis would wake up for feeding, and my father-in-law will help me to feed him so that I can sleep.. That includes the morning feeding as well.. So touched..
Yesterday I was having a drink by the kitchen window and I couldn't help but noticed the many cans of empty drink in the dustbin..
By default, I was born into this world with a dislike for plain water, so my father will always buy me cans of green tea, pepsi, and chrysanthemum.. All stored in the fridge waiting to be drank.. How wonderful to have such a caring and helpful father-in-law.. And canned drinks are very heavy lor. Imagine he has to buy and carry them every few days..
I can still remember years ago he would always buy me fresh coconuts just because I like it..
Moments ago, he asked me if I want to have some instant noodles as he is going to cook some. I told him no but then I thought that maybe I will be hungry later in the night so I went to cook some myself.. My sis-in-law came out of her room and say she want to have a bite of her dad's noodles.. So she ate la, then my father-in-law say because she ate so much (not a bite, mind you), he want to cook another packet.. So nice.. He is the one that want to eat noodles but ended up letting us have it first..
And also majority of the housework are done by him..
Few days ago, I told them that I wish I can "shipped" my father-in-law with me to Arizona. Haha.. I wish!!
